Holiday in Shanghai

Once a humble fishing village, Shanghai has grown in both size and power over the last 15 years, becoming mainland China’s largest centre of Commerce and finance, whilst showcasing a spectacular skyline and infamous party scene. Now recognised as the largest cargo port on the world, Shanghai boasts a rich and diverse culture, which grew from its cosmopolitan history, and has influenced the City’s architecture and religions. Old Shanghai The Bund is one of Old Shanghai’s most recognisable landmarks, consisting of 24 buildings in 17 different architectural styles, including Gothic, Renaissance and Art Deco, this part of Old Shanghai has changed very little since the early 1940s.
