The Free Chinese Flag

The Free Chinese Flag represents Chinese people who uphold the spirit of integrity and good faith, recognize universal values and human rights, and have obtained—or aspire to obtain—freedom. Law-abiding non-Chinese citizens who support a free China and the Free Chinese community may also display the flag.

Guidelines for Display

When flown on a shared flagpole with the national flag of a democratic country, the democratic national flag should occupy the higher position.
When flown on separate flagpoles, the democratic national flag should be placed on the central or higher flagpole.
It is prohibited to display the Free Chinese Flag together with the flag of an authoritarian country.

During pro-democracy activities organized by Chinese people, it is recommended to display the Free Chinese Flag to express solidarity and commitment to freedom and democracy.
